Weird
MC’s elongated headgear is giving her headache and she
is seriously considering getting rid of the trademark
headgear. She told friends on Facebook. A world famous
networking site, ‘Peeps, I figured I’d ask you guys, I’m
getting bored with da gele (My headgear) thing. Should
it go or stay?’ Weird MC, who refers to herself as a
rappertainner has made the headgear a trademark since
she bounced back in 2005. Though it is uncertain what
her eventual decision is, a close source has confirmed
she is indeed
trying to rebrand, as she puts finishing touches to her
third album. Weird MC is billed to perform at the
Starville Concert on the 15th of December. |

STARVILLE CONCERT:
3 DAYS TO THE SHOWDOWN
We know that the city of Lagos is getting set for the
showdown as Starville presents the mother of all
concerts featuring international stars; Lil Kim, Lil
Wayne, Ying Yang twins, Brick & Lace, Amerie plus the
rising star from the Starville Label “Shank”.
Representing the home front are Dbanj, Weird, Ikechukwu,
Black Solo and Street Disciple. They will be supported
by top notch DJs Jimmy Jatt and Humility. The concert is
scheduled for December 15, 2007 at the This Day events
centre. Tickets N5, 000 Regular, N25,000 V.I.P and are
available at Numetro Stores, Lacachette, Bacchus and
Soul Lounge. The concert will begin at 5pm prompt and

is, Queen Latifah has popped the question to her
longtime girlfriend, shown above. So if this is right,
that means the Queen is officially coming out of the
closet? We’ll see. According to MediaTakeout, the two
have been dating for four years now and you will recall
that Queen Latifah has never been officially linked with
any member of the opposite sex. A formal, public
announcement is expected soon. You’re not shocked, are

bachelorhood, we hear AY has followed suit and he has
even done an introduction with the family of the
would-be-bride. The wedding is expected to take place in
